This PRIVACY POLICY describes how VPD/VCS collect, use and protect the personally identifiable information/data.
Receiving the Information
There are various ways through which we can receive personal information:
- Most of the personal information is received by us through the employers (Clients of VPD/VCS).
- The employee of the Client Company may himself/herself provide the information directly as a part of the benefit plan participant.
- You may provide such information as a visitor to the Site www.vpdconsultants.com by opting to participate in some type of information exchange such as inquiries about employment opportunities with VPD/VCS, request or queries about the services offered by VPD/VCS, etc.
Type of Personal Information Received
- Personal Information – such as name, age, date of birth, contact details, bank account number etc. as required to provide our services.
- Employment Information – date of joining the organisation, designation, salary, bonus, tax information, date of termination as required.
- Retiral Benefit Programme Participation and Coverage Information - date of membership of the fund, nomination details, claim details, benefit plan account balances, date of retirement
Measures taken for Protection
VPD/VCS have undertaken several security measures to help reduce the risk of unauthorised use of the personal information and accidental loss, destruction or damage to the personal information. We have a computer security policy in place and we also train our employees about data security issues. Only employees who have job-related need to access the personal information have been authorised to work on the information. In addition to these employees, only your employer has access to the said information.
We won't use, transfer, or disclose your personal information to anyone outside of VPD/VCS, unless authorised by you, except in connection with your employer's plans and programmes, as required by law or legal process, in response to law enforcement requests, and as necessary to protect the property, interests, and rights of VPD/VCS and/or your employer.
Making Corrections
VPD/VCS are committed to accurately maintaining your personal information on the basis of the data/information received/provided by the employer. Although we can't guarantee that your personal information will be 100% accurate at all times, we'll take reasonable steps to correct personal information that is properly identified as incorrect. However please take note that any corrections to be made should be forwarded through your employer.
VPD/VCS reserve the right to update or modify the PRIVACY POLICY at any time. Therefore, we encourage you as a user to periodically review the policy for any updating or modification.
